Meet & Greets
We no longer do Random Meet & Greets. We now visit with new instructors and anyone requesting a meet and greet.
Laptop Hookup Training
Every quarter, before instruction starts, ATS offers a "hands-on" laptop hookup training session in one of the general assignment classrooms. Instructors are encouraged to bring their own laptop and get it working to their satisfaction. During these sessions, various issues in using the classroom media cabinets are discussed: keys, wireless microphones, timeouts, assisted listening devices, and network security.
Miscellaneous Classroom A-V Training
Every quarter, before instruction starts, ATS offers a training session in one of the general assignment classrooms detailing miscellaneous topics of concern to instructors: presentation remotes, video mirroring versus extended desktop, use of PowerPoint Presenter View (PC) and Presenter Tools (Mac), useful PowerPoint commands, color calibration, and the use of iPods as a presentation device.
One-on One & Group Training Sessions
Faculty may arrange at any time for one-on-one assistance in a specific general assignment classroom. Departments may arrange for group training of support personnel and TAs.
Color Calibration
If accurate color is essential in your projected images but instead looks "washed out" or "too hot", please contact us for possible solutions.
