Banner Training

Banner is a computerized database of UC Davis student, faculty and staff information organized into several modules or components. Classroom Media Training

At the beginning of each academic quarter, many staff members of CTS are scheduled to visit 6-8 of our largest lecture halls during the first 2-3 days of classes to meet with faculty prior to the start of their instruction. DaFIS Training

DaFIS is the Financial Information System for the University of California, Davis. The DaFIS group provides a number of training opportunities including courses, practice sites, a lab, and email lists. Visit their training site to see the schedule of training events and learn more.

ET Partners

The Educational Technology (ET) Partners Program offers a select group of UC Davis students as technology advisors to both faculty and academic departments at no cost. For more information, contact Mediaworks at (530) 752-2133 or by email: mediaworks@ucdavis.edu.

Faculty Mentoring Faculty Program

The Faculty Mentoring Faculty Program provides UC Davis faculty an opportunity to mentor and to learn from other faculty interested in instructional technology and innovative teaching. Participants will learn about such tools as Almagest and SmartSite. Faculty interested in becoming mentors should contact Andy Jones, Faculty Mentoring Faculty Program Manager, at aojones@ucdavis.edu or 752-3408.

SmartSite & Breeze Classes

SmartSite & Breeze courses will be announced via email listserv(s) and on the Teaching Resources Center Web site calendar, where you may register. A schedule of the upcoming SmartSite presentations, demonstrations and workshops is coming soon.
