IThe UC system-wide Microsoft Select agreement with our software reseller, CDW-G, was approaching expiration at the end of January; however, in consultation with the UC Technology Acquisition Support
(TAS) group, UCOP has extended our current Select agreement for an additional three years. Additionally, the deadline to renew Software Assurance and TechNet subscriptions has been extended until the end of February.

What does this mean for your department? Departments planning to renew TechNet subscriptions and software assurance for your Microsoft Select software will need to renew through CDW-G before the end of next month.
According to CDW-G, the latest Select pricing should be posted on their Web site, http://cdwg.com/ucdavisvla/, by tomorrow, January 25.
