March 18: UC Davis MCCA Enrollment Presentation and SHI Presentation

Greetings,

This is a reminder that our annual presentation on enrollment in the Microsoft Consolidated Campus Agreement (MCCA) is next week on Tuesday, March 18. Additionally, we have scheduled a campus presentation by Software House International (SHI), our new UC software reseller, immediately following the MCCA presentation. Details on the presentations are as follows:

1. MCCA Presentation

Tuesday, March 18
1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
MUII, Memorial Union

Our UC Microsoft representative, Taylor Kao, and our UC Account Executive from SHI, Paul Nordlund, will provide information to departments on enrollment in MCCA through SHI. SLC strongly encourages TSCs from all departments to attend to learn about the benefits of enrolling in MCCA, its entitlements, and new Microsoft products. Through MCCA, departments license all the computers and users in their department for 12 months, and are eligible for the latest Microsoft software.

Enrollment in MCCA opens on April 1 and closes on May 9, this year. For more information, please visit the Campus Microsoft Web site at http://iet.ucdavis.edu/microsoft/campus_agreement.cfm.

2. SHI Presentation

As announced by SLC on February 22, SHI is now UC's strategically sourced and designated reseller for the following software publishers:
Adobe, FileMaker, McAfee, Microsoft, and Symantec. Our UC Account Executive, Paul Nordlund, will answer your questions and provide a live demonstration on using our campus SHI Web site and other useful information. SLC strongly encourages TSCs from all departments to attend to learn about ordering software through SHI.
