Purchasing
Departments may purchase Office 2008 through the Microsoft Select program or the Microsoft Consolidated Campus Agreement (MCCA). Refer to the Campus Licensing section for detailed information on each agreement. Departments participating in the MCCA or Select program may also install Office 2008 on staff and faculty personal computers to be used for work purposes only through the Work at Home (WAH) program.

Under the MCCA and Select program, departments may purchase Office 2008 for Mac.

Activating
To obtain the software, departmental technical support staff can download Office 2008 from http://download.ucdavis.edu. Office 2008 for Mac does not require a separate key code for activation (the key code is already embedded in the software).
