Adobe Presenter at UC Davis
Adobe Presenter, formerly Macromedia Breeze Presenter, is a rich media and e-learning authoring tool used to create on-demand presentations from within Microsoft® PowerPoint®. Breeze Presenter can be used to create short videos explaining difficult scientific theories and concepts, which would then be made available to students via the Web. PowerPoint slides that are enhanced with animations and audio can then be delivered as streamed media over the Web, and students can view them online without having to own a copy of PowerPoint. What's more, use of this software also allows delivery of materials without enabling simple downloading or copying of copyrighted or copyrightable materials.
What can Adobe Presenter do?
- Easily create interactive multimedia presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Publish AICC- and SCORM-compliant Adobe Presenter content to existing learning management systems.
- Use out-of-the-box templates or create custom presentation templates.
- Test understanding and retention through quizzes and surveys.
- Convert rich-media presentations to the Adobe Flash format for online distribution.
