Frequently Asked Questions
  • Can I use Firefly-generated outputs commercially?
  • In general, outputs from generative AI features may be used commercially. However, if Adobe designates in the product or elsewhere that a beta version of a generative AI feature cannot be used commercially, then the generated outputs from that beta feature are for personal use only and cannot be used commercially.
  • How can I get the best results from Firefly?
  • The results depend on your text prompt. The prompts play a crucial role in guiding the AI's behavior and influencing the quality and relevance of its responses. Write descriptive prompts to generate extraordinary and vibrant images — if you don't like the results, reword your prompt, add reference images, and choose styles and special effects to get closer to what you want.
  • Why is there a watermark on the image when I download it?
  • The watermark is applied to downloads or exports of your content created with Firefly when you are an unpaid user. The watermarked content is still available to be used for commercial purposes. To remove the watermark, you can subscribe to the Firefly Premium plan, Adobe Express Premium, or one of our other plans.
