To honor and celebrate Women’s History Month the UC Womxn in Tech committee is hosting a virtual series with two amazing speakers on the days leading up to International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 8. The events are open to everyone across the UC system.

Speaker series discussions will focus on inspiring inclusion, following this year’s IWD theme of DigitALL: Innovation & Technology for Gender Equality. This programming aims to foster a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.  Registration will open in a few weeks! Monday, March 7, 12-1 p.m. - Dr. Lauren F. Klein is Winship Distinguished Research Professor and Associate Professor in the departments of Quantitative Theory & Methods and English at Emory University, where she also directs the Digital Humanities Lab. Lauren works at the intersection of data science, AI, and the humanities, with an emphasis on questions of gender and race. Full bio | Website
