In higher education, technology has long been more than an operational tool—it is the backbone of innovation, access, and discovery. Today, as we navigate an era defined by generative AI, data-driven insight, and rapid digital transformation, our mission as a central IT organization has never been clearer: to enable UC Davis' success through people-centered, forward-thinking technology.

This year’s impact report highlights how Information and Educational Technology (IET) and campus partners have advanced teaching, learning, and research through secure, efficient, and inclusive digital ecosystems. From strengthening cybersecurity resilience to expanding the reach of accessibility technologies; from fostering employee engagement and community collaboration to driving operational efficiency and effectiveness—our work demonstrates the essential role IT plays as both an enabler and a catalyst for institutional excellence.

Through these efforts, we are shaping a digital future grounded in our principles of community. Together, we are demonstrating that when people and technology align with purpose, the result is transformative: advancing discovery, enriching education, and strengthening the foundation of our university community.

Thank you for being part of this shared journey of digital impact.
