Computer Classroom Rules

  • An instructor or a teaching assistant (TA) must be present during reserved times.
  • Please start & end class on time.  Most classrooms are scheduled back-to-back throughout the day, making it essential for classes to start and end on time. This ensures smooth transitions between classes and supports the equitable and efficient use of classroom space.
  • Reset the classroom after use
    • Replace moveable chairs, tables, and items to their original location.
    • Turn off the projection system.
    • Return all supplies (e.g., markers, erasers) to their designated places.
    • Erase whiteboards completely.
  • Keep classrooms clean
    • Food and drinks are not allowed in classrooms (except at the Drink Safe Zone).
    • Dispose of all trash appropriately.
    • Posting unauthorized signs on walls, equipment or other surfaces is not allowed.
    • Do not leave personal belongings in the classroom.
  • If the classroom capacity, configuration or equipment does not meet your needs, please contact Computer Lab Management —do not attempt to switch classrooms or modify the space yourself.
