Save the dates, June 20-21, for the biennial Information Security Symposium
The Information Security Symposium will return on June 20-21, 2023. The symposium planning committee invites you and your peers from UC Davis, other UC campuses, California state universities, and other guests, to join the event for two days of presentations on topics involving cyber security and privacy.
This year’s theme for the virtual symposium is "Evolve"— meeting the increased need for security in an ever-changing world.
This event presents a great opportunity to meet or reconnect with your peers from other UC campuses, learn from professionals outside UC, and exchange ideas and solutions related to a wide range of security activities. Sharing ideas, best practices, and innovations helps us all improve—and helps evolve our perspectives as the information security world continues to change.
As in years past, the symposium will include presentations made by professionals like you and your colleagues, so please start thinking about topics you may want to present. The committee will distribute a call for proposals soon, with registration opening the beginning of May.
As the 2023 symposium draws closer, the committee will post more information at http://infosecsymposium.ucdavis.edu. You can also reach the proposal committee via email at Iss-2023-curriculum@ucdavis.edu.
