Registration for SITT 2025 is Now Open!
UC Davis faculty and staff are encouraged to join the 2025 Summer Institute on Teaching and Technology (SITT) on September 11-12, 2025. Registration is open for the annual event that features live online presentations with a focus on pedagogical and instructional technological ways to inspire and transform all students.
Even if you aren't directly involved in teaching at UC Davis, there is still a lot of value to be gained. Attendees will learn about the challenges faculty face in the classroom, innovative ways technology is being used to improve the student learning experience, and discover ways to improve their daily workflows.

The theme of this year is “30 Years of SITT: Reaching Every Learner”, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the collaborative and educational event.
"SITT is really the high point of the year,” said Margaret Merrill, Senior Instructional Design Consultant with Academic Technology Services. “We love getting together with so many faculty - their enthusiasm for teaching and their commitment to their students is inspiring, and I always feel energized for the upcoming year.”
In addition to the live presentations, attendees will also have access to an entire library of on-demand talks that they can watch at their convenience. Past presentations and recorded talks going back to 2021 are also currently on The Wheel, the instructional technology blog of UC Davis.
