Summary
ChatGPT Edu is a version of ChatGPT designed specifically for higher education institutions to enhance learning, teaching, and research. Conversations and data are not used to train OpenAI models.
Beginning July 10, 2025, UC Davis campus faculty and staff can request ChatGPT Edu subscriptions through the Service Catalog. A valid Aggie Enterprise Chart String must be used to purchase an annual subscription.
ChatGPT Edu subscriptions will be available soon to UC Davis Health staff. Check back for updates.

How to Obtain & Log in
- ChatGPT Edu is available to UC Davis campus faculty and staff, and will be available soon to UC Davis Health staff.
- Request a ChatGPT Edu annual subscription in ServiceNow and use a valid Aggie Enterprise Chart String to purchase.
- Once subscribed, log in to ChatGPT Edu with your UC Davis email and passphrase at: https://openai.com/chatgpt.
