Banner 7 Training Resumes Fri. Oct. 27

The upgrade of the Student Information System from Banner 6 to Banner 7 is on track for Veterans Day weekend. The Banner system will be unavailable from 5 p.m., Thursday, November 9 through 8 a.m. Monday November 13. Information about the upgrade is available at: http://sis.ucdavis.edu/banner.

All Banner users are encouraged to sign up for training if they haven't already attended a class. Two different courses are being offered: an overview presentation and a hands-on workshop.

Banner 7: The Banner 7 Upgrade
In this large-group presentation, new Banner 7 features will be demonstrated and requirements for the upgrade will be discussed. Both overview classes will be held in 6 Olson Hall.

Banner 7: A Hands-on Introduction
In this hands-on lab, Banner users may access their Banner account to compare Banner 6 and Banner 7 forms. The Banner trainer will be available during this lab time to answer questions and provide assistance. All classes for the hands-on lab will take place in 130 Hoagland Hall.
