Banner 7 upgrade reset for Nov. 9-13; training planned

The upgrade of the Student Information System to Banner 7, postponed in late August, has been rescheduled for Veterans Day weekend. That means the system will be down from 5 p.m. Nov. 9 through 8 a.m. Nov. 13.

The Student Information System Oversight Committee chose the holiday weekend as the least disruptive time for the campus. To read more about the upgrade, go to the Banner Web site.

Banner helps the campus organize and access student academic and administrative data.

The upgrade was originally scheduled for Labor Day weekend, but was postponed after testing revealed some persistent problems that required more time to solve.
