Campus releases latest free Internet tools CD

The latest version of the campus Internet tools CD is now available.

The CD includes Sophos Anti-Virus, the replacement software for Symantec Anti-Virus. (The campus licensing contract for the Symantec product expires July 24, so everyone who obtained Symantec through UC Davis should remove it from their computers by then.) The CD also has copies of Endnote bibliographic software and various security tools.

Faculty, staff, and students may pick up a free copy of the CD at the IT Express Help Desk in 182 Shields Library. Questions? Email software@ucdavis.edu.

Sophos (and other software) can also be downloaded from the campus software Web site.
