In late August, the Video Services and Distribution Advanced Technology Project Team submitted their report to Vice Provost Bruno. The small team of specialists was assembled over a year ago to investigate the extent to which the current UC Davis video services and infrastructure could meet the campus?current and future video services needs in support of instruction and research. Over the last few months, the team carefully investigated these issues, compiled an extensive inventory of the video infrastructure in place on campus, identified needs and issues the campus will have to address, and provided options to ensure the reliable distribution of video services. The team's findings are summarized in their report. Next steps include formulating a plan to ensure the development and implementation of appropriate video services in support of UC Davis instructional and research goals.
