EndNote now available for download at campus site
As
promised last month, the EndNote bibliographic software can now be downloaded from the campus software Web site, my.ucdavis.edu/software.
Only the Windows Version X is available at present, said a posting from the UC Davis Software License Coordination unit of Information and Educational Technology on Tuesday. But the Mac Version X should be available this week and will be placed on the software site as soon as it arrives.
People use EndNote to search databases and to organize and format references for academic and scholarly papers. It runs on Windows and Mac OS, and is compatible with recent versions of Microsoft Word.
The EndNote site license permits all current UC Davis faculty, staff, and students to install and use the software on work and home computers. The "perpetual license" for the software includes updates and support.
Please direct any questions to software@ucdavis.edu.
