Faculty mentoring program sets tentative winter lineup

The Faculty Mentoring Faculty Program has set its tentative schedule for the winter quarter, with weekly presenters ranging from Lisa Pruitt of the UC Davis School of Law to faculty users of SmartSite.

Sessions meet Fridays from noon to 1 p.m. starting Jan. 25 in the IET-Academic Technology Services conference room in Surge II. All instructors are welcome.

The program offers faculty a weekly opportunity to mentor and learn from colleagues interested in instructional technology and innovative teaching. Sessions in previous quarters have covered topics as diverse as podcasting, writing, and how to engage students so they want to actively participate in class.
