Information and Educational Technology (IET) services and business units will operate on a limited schedule during the holiday period from Dec. 24, 2008 through Jan. 2, 2009.
The university holidays are Wednesday, Dec. 24; Thursday, Dec. 25; Wednesday, Dec. 31; and Thursday, Jan. 1.
The IT Express Computing Services Help Desk will close for all four holidays. During the rest of the winter break, IT Express consultants will be available from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays by phone, at (530) 754-HELP (4357), or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
IET-Communications Resources will close to the public from Dec. 24 through Jan. 2. For an automated campus phone directory (and operator assistance during business hours), call (530) 752-1011.
Data Center Operations will close only from 5 p.m. Dec. 24 until 6 a.m. Dec. 26. At any time, to check the status of a major campus system--email, authentication, Banner, SmartSite, MyUCDavis, etc.--visit the campus network and server status page. (Outage notices will not be updated on the status Web site when Operations is closed except during a campuswide emergency.)
