Information for Banner Users

The Banner Student Information System (SIS) software will be upgraded in summer, 2006. The upgrade allows the campus to prepare for financial aid requirements for the 2007-2008 aid year, meet federal mandate requirements, and allows for flexibility in planning and preparing for the new version.

Many changes are anticipated with the new Banner system, including new monitor requirements, a new look and feel, and new login procedures.

Information sessions about the Banner upgrade will be held on September 20, 2005 (9:00-10:00 a.m. or 2:30-3:30 p.m.) in 1100 Social Sciences and Humanities. The presentation will include the new look and feel of the Banner interface, the proposed dates for training and the proposed dates for implementation. No RSVP is necessary.
