Learn about SmartSite upgrades, pilot at discovery sessions

Significant upgrades for SmartSite are in the works. Come learn about them at a discovery session on almost any Wednesday from now through Dec. 9 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in 1102 Hart Hall.

No advance registration is needed, but some experience using SmartSite is recommended. Find the entire fall schedule of SmartSite training sessions here. No session will be held Nov. 11 or Nov. 25, but one has been scheduled for Monday, Nov. 23, also from noon to 1:30 in 1102 Hart.

Each session will show how the numerous upgrades can help faculty and staff be even more successful with their SmartSite course and project sites. Information and Educational Technology (IET) is conducting a focused pilot for faculty and staff to test the upgrades. Feedback from these sessions as well as future open forums will help inform the go/no-go decision to be made in December.

IET is also performing detailed quality assurance testing in parallel with the focused pilot.

More information about the upgrades will be posted soon to the SmartSite Web site, smartsite.ucdavis.edu.
