Learn to record, podcast lectures

Instructors who want to learn how to record and podcast lectures are invited to a two-part training session Jan. 2.

The session--offered by Classroom Technology Services, a unit of Information and Educational Technology--will begin in Haring 2205 and then move to the Science Laboratory Building, room 2020.

A demonstration will start at 3:15, showing how the Marantz digital recorder (currently installed in 10 lecture halls) works. Hands-on practice will follow at 3:30, and instructors are invited to bring a CompactFlash Card and record themselves. The group will then move to 2020 Science Lab to learn how to upload recordings to podcasting course pages. The session is scheduled to end by 5.

If interested, please RSVP to Rodd Kleinschmidt at rkleinschmidt@ucdavis.edu. For more on the UC Davis digital recording and podcasting program, click here.
