Microsoft Releases February 2005 Security Patches

Microsoft Corporation has released 12 security updates for February 2005. These patches correct security flaws in Internet Explorer, MSN Messenger, Server Message Block (SMB) protocol, License Logging Service (LLS) and other software. Several of the vulnerabilities could permit an unauthorized individual to remotely execute programs on your computer. It is strongly recommended that the patches be applied. The patches are available through the Windows update function (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com.
