New course management tools include the Threaded Discussion Board and the Glossary Tool. The Threaded Discussion Board provides instructors greater flexibility to create multiple discussion boards and the ability to remove postings. It also offers enhanced student options (such as automatic notification to postings). The Glossary Tool allows instructors to use MyUCDavis to enter or upload glossary terms for the course. These terms can then be automatically hyperlinked in the MyUCDavis course Web site or found in the ?Glossary? menu of the course Web site. Tutorials have been created that walk instructors through the main features of the portal, including Website Builder, GradeBook and Quiz Builder. These tutorials are available at http://my.ucdavis.edu/project/tutorials.html. There, MyUCDavis users can also find information on portal training sessions.
