Policy for Email Communications with Students Under Review

A policy has been drafted that identifies email as an official communication medium for the campus to reach students, since email has been determined to be more effective, cost-efficient, and timely than regular mail. Before email can be recognized as an official means of communications, the campus must ensure that all students have access to their campus accounts. To that end, the Office of the Registrar and IET Policy Analyst are evaluating how students activate their campus email accounts.?They are also investigating potential security issues with email, both in transit and when students forward their email to an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
