Proposals for Spring 2003 ET Partners Now Being Accepted

The Educational Technology (ET) Partners Program in now accepting faculty proposals for Spring 2003. ET Partners brings together for one quarter a select number of faculty members with specially trained students. The goal is to develop the faculty members' expertise in educational technology and to help them effectively incorporate appropriate technology into their teaching. The ET Partners Program has been very successful since its inception in Fall 2001. So far, thirty-seven faculty members from various campus organizations and departments have been able to participate in the program, becoming more conversant with educational technology and developing instructional projects specifically related to their teaching interests. Many faculty (particularly those with a specific course-related technology project in mind) have seen in this program a wonderful opportunity for professional development and for one-on-one technology training. The call for proposals and application form are available on the Web at http://mediaworks.ucdavis.edu/edutech/ETPartners/call.htm. The application deadline for Spring 2003 is Monday, March 10, 2003. (Applications are now also being accepted for Fall 2003.)
