Read about Web apps, more, in latest IET Report

The latest issue of IET's eminently informative compendium of campus technology projects - a.k.a. the IET Report - is now available.

The latest issue describes the challenges UC Davis is facing regarding illegal file sharing; new Web-based applications that are helping to get away from processing paper forms; the latest improvements in the computer labs (expanded wireless printing, a new collaboration space in Meyer Media Lab); an early look at some of the technology topics that will be discussed at the Chancellor's Fall Conference; free encryption software for individuals and departments; and more.

The IET Report, issued every February, May, and October by Information and Educational Technology (IET), summarizes progress about technology projects during the preceding three to four months. Both PDF and HTML versions of the report are available.
