Security Organizations Urge Microsoft Users to Download Patch

An exploit that takes advantage of a Microsoft vulnerability was recently released. Security organizations warn that computers running Windows 2000, XP and Server 2003 without recent critical security patches are susceptible to this exploit. The exploit could allow attackers to gain control of vulnerable computers.

It is strongly recommended that Microsoft patch MS04-011 (835732) and other recent critical Microsoft patches be applied.
