Security updates for Mac OS X, 10.3.5, were released on October 4, 2004. The security enhancements relate to the following components, AFP Server (file sharing), CUPS (print spooler), NetInfoManager, Postfix and QuickTime. Installation of this update is recommended. The OS X software update utility can be configured to seek operating system and application updates on a regular basis (a daily check is optimal).
