UC Davis announces dates for 2015 IT Security Symposium

Workshops, hands-on labs, presentations, and networking with peers will all be part of the lineup at the next IT Security Symposium, scheduled for June 16-17, 2015, on the UC Davis campus.

Organizers expect more than 250 technical professionals and administrative managers from University of California campuses and medical centers to attend. The every-other-year event offers an opportunity to discuss computer and network security issues and strategies, as well as exchange ideas for improving IT privacy and security.

The agenda will take shape early next year. This December, organizers will call for proposals for presentations, which will include talks by university and industry experts. Registration will cost $95. Sessions will be scheduled in the Conference Center, the Graduate School of Management's Gallagher Hall, and IET computer rooms.
