UC Davis signs purchasing deal with Dell
University of California, Davis, has signed a two-year direct order agreement with Dell Marketing L.P. for the purchase of computers, monitors, printers, servers, software, personal digital assistants and related computer technology products.
The agreement is posted on the UCD Purchasing Agreements Web site and may be used immediately. The UC Davis KST Data Inc. agreement should no longer be used for Dell computer products, said an email posting from Ken Woodard, associate director in the campus Material Management office.
The deal with Dell began on Monday, Sept. 11, and expires on Sept. 10, 2008. The campus has options to extend the contract for up to five years after that.
Dell Inc. of Round Rock, Texas, designs, makes and sells a wide range of computer products and services. It is one of America's largest 50 companies based on revenue.
