UC introduces site rich with images from California's past

The University of California has launched Calisphere, a free Web site with more than 150,000 images and other materials depicting California's history.

The site, www.calisphere.universityofcalifornia.edu, offers educators, students and the public access to images, documents and more from the libraries and museums of the UC campuses and cultural heritage organizations across California.

Calisphere is a public service project of the California Digital Library (www.cdlib.org). To read more in the official UC announcement, click here.
