Wireless Guest access is available as of January 9, 2006. This means those without Kerberos accounts can now use the campus wireless internet, so long as a UC Davis faculty or staff member sets up a temporary account for them. These accounts last for 1-7 days, but can be renewed for up to a total of 30 days.
Only UC Davis faculty and staff can create a guest account. These work for a single user and can be made by following the steps listed at http://wireless.ucdavis.edu/guestaccess.html. To make an account that lasts longer than 30 days, fill out a Temporary Affiliate Form, available at http://email.ucdavis.edu/forms/forms.html. To create a wireless account for a group, email Zack O???Donnell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
