Wireless Guest Access Now Available

Wireless Guest access is available as of January 9, 2006. This means those without Kerberos accounts can now use the campus wireless internet, so long as a UC Davis faculty or staff member sets up a temporary account for them. These accounts last for 1-7 days, but can be renewed for up to a total of 30 days.

Only UC Davis faculty and staff can create a guest account. These work for a single user and can be made by following the steps listed at http://wireless.ucdavis.edu/guestaccess.html. To make an account that lasts longer than 30 days, fill out a Temporary Affiliate Form, available at http://email.ucdavis.edu/forms/forms.html. To create a wireless account for a group, email Zack O???Donnell at zmodonnell@ucdavis.edu.
