About Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS)
This IET team creates, deploys, and manages business, academic, and infrastructure systems. EIS has a team of technology subject matter experts who advise the campus about the appropriate application of technology to solve business problems.

Applications Services
This EIS team supports crucial UC Davis technological infrastructure. They are committed to enhancing the academic and administrative functions of the institution, ensuring that faculty, staff, and students have the tools and resources needed to succeed in a dynamic and evolving workspace.
- The Applications Services team manages the following;
- Enterprise Messaging: Connects the university through collaboration applications, such as Gmail, Office 365, Box, and Teams.
Faculty Information System: Enhances the teaching and learning environment through system integrations and automations.
Identity and Access Management (IAM): Manages faculty, staff, student, and health identity data critical to daily operations.
Oracle Database Services: Provides a solid foundation for the university's data management needs.
Salesforce Development: Streamlines HR case management and administrative processes.
Sitefarm Content Management System: Creates and maintains university-owned websites.
Classroom Technologies
This EIS team oversees and enables seamless technology experiences across the entire campus. They provide all network, telecommunications, and audio-visual infrastructure for classrooms and other campus spaces.

Infrastructure Services
This EIS team serves as the primary point of contact for all network, voice, and core IT service access requests on campus and they diligently manage the campus data infrastructure.
- The Infrastructure Services team supports the following;
- Engineering and Client Server Management: Provides telecommunications and networking services for campus and capital projects.
Network Operations Center (NOC): Supports a vast infrastructure of wireless, telephone, data, video, and radio systems.
The Data Center: Facilitates and supports services and provides access to information and educational resources on campus.
