Is the sharing of illegal music files over the internet doomed? Japan's Sony Corp and Panasonic-brand owner Matsushita Electric Industrial, South Korea's Samsung Electronics and Dutch Philips Electronics have agreed to work together in order to develop and maintain a common method to protect music and video files from innapropriate reproduction.
