April 2005 Security Updates from Microsoft

On April 12, 2005, Microsoft Corporation released several security patches for computers using Windows products. Installation of the security patches is strongly recommended. The patches can be downloaded from http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com using the Internet Explorer Web browser.

Under certain conditions, computers which lack these updates could be permit unauthorized programs to execute. Such unauthorized program execution could threaten the integrity, availability and confidentiality of electronic data and systems. The vulnerabilities affect computers running Internet Explorer (Web browser), Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.
