Redesigned Computer and Network Security Web Site Launched
A revised and redesigned version of the Computer and Network Security Web site (http://security.ucdavis.edu) was launched on November 15, 2005. Features of the new site include:
- Easy access to UC Davis Cyber-Safety Program main page and security-related services and projects.
- New section called Cyber-Safety Basics: Security for Everyone, which replaces the Ten Steps to Safe Computing section and more closely aligns these resources with the campus Cyber-Safety Program.
- Clickable, randomized images on home page that feature key topics in campus computer security such as spam filtering, anti-virus software, and phishing.
- Cleaner look.
