Banner upgrade delayed until fall
The upgrade of the Student Information System to Banner 7, originally scheduled for Labor Day weekend (Sept. 2-4), has been postponed until later this fall.
Recent test results have revealed some persistent problems which point to a need for delay, said an Aug. 31 notice emailed to Banner users from Leon Washington, assistant vice chancellor of Student Affairs, and Dave Shelby, assistant vice provost of Information and Educational Technology.
A new date that offers the least disruptive rollout time for the campus will be announced in the coming weeks.
