Proposals for UC Computing Services Conference due March 15

The deadline to send proposals for the 25th annual University of California Computing Services Conference is nearly here.

UCCSC 2007, a "great opportunity for IT professionals from all UC campuses" to talk shop, will meet July 29-31 at UC Santa Cruz. This year's conference, says the official announcement, celebrates 25 years of close work "with UC faculty, staff and students to help them understand technology, find the best ways that technology can enhance learning, and design systems to solve academic research problems."

To submit a proposal, go to the UCCSC 07 Web site and click on "program tracks." Read the descriptions, then click on "submit a proposal" at the top of that page.

Registering for the conference costs $200 until June 1, $250 after.
