Learn laptop/projector linkups, become a proficient podcaster
You're teaching a class. You need to connect your laptop to the classroom projector. If you're not quite sure how to do that, a training session in late March can fill you in--ditto if you're interested in recording that lecture for a podcast.
The training sessions are taught by Classroom Technology Services, part of Information and Educational Technology. The laptop connection session is 1 to 4 p.m. March 26 in Haring 2205 (please RSVP to Robert Ralston).
The podcast seminar, which will introduce faculty to recording and podcasting lectures at UC Davis, is 1:30 to 3 p.m. March 27; it will begin in Haring 2205 and then move to the Science Laboratory Building, room 2020 (RSVP to Ralston or Rodd Kleinschmidt).
Both sessions include instruction and hands-on practice.
