UC Davis IT security expert gets mention in Wall Street Journal
The question, as described in the Wall Street Journal item this week, was "choosing strong passwords, and knowing when to change them." The answer includes advice from Bob Ono, UC Davis' own IT security coordinator.
Ono's advice appeared in a brief story on Page D1 of the July 11th Journal, and is also available online. The item by Paolo Singer contained several ideas, then ended with Ono's suggestion that people have two passwords--one for sites that don't require much security, and "a more intricate one for online banking and similar security-sensitive transactions."
The Wall Street Journal's print circulation exceeds 2 million, making it the second-largest newspaper in the United States after USA Today. It is published daily except Sunday.
