Duo enabled for students on my.ucdavis.edu
To further improve security, Duo was enabled on my.ucdavis.edu for UC Davis students, effective Oct. 27. This change will not affect faculty and staff as they are already using Duo on the site.
Duo multi-factor authentication was rolled out to students earlier this year on multiple services. With Duo now enabled on my.ucdavis.edu, students will be required to use Duo when logging in.
Students who do not have a smartphone can use a token (a small piece of hardware that generates the authentication code). Tokens can be purchased from UC Davis Stores ($29.99 + tax). If a student needs financial assistance, they can request a token using this Aggie Compass Basic Needs form.
For more information, see the knowledge base article “Getting Started with Duo.” For help, contact the IT Express Service Desk at (530) 754-4357. They are open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
