Campus Updates: Wi-Fi & Technology-Enabled Spaces

Wireless graphic

For Students, Faculty & Staff

Over the summer, we strengthened Wi-Fi connectivity and updated many classrooms in Davis and Sacramento in preparation for the new academic year.

At Aggie Square in Sacramento, we added audio-visual and network equipment to over 10 classrooms and 11 conference rooms.

In Davis, we updated and expanded Wi-Fi access. There are approximately 7,500 wireless access points on campus with more being added every day.

Note: The quality of your Wi-Fi connectivity may be impacted by the number of people on the network. Internet speeds may go down in a crowded conference room or lecture hall. Wi-Fi usage tends to peak during midterm and finals week. If you run into connection issues, please reach out to IT Express.
