As the campus central service desk, IT Express supports Aggies with account management, email services, Canvas, Zoom, and other academic applications, supported software, network services, and more. There are several different ways to contact IT Express. 

The next UC Davis Information Security Symposium will be held virtually as two half conference days on May 12-13, 2026.  
The symposium is a recurring IT security conference hosted by the University of California, Davis, and is open to students, faculty, and staff in the UC system and sponsor partners.
The 2026 theme is ENGAGE, highlighting the power of inclusion, collaboration, and shared responsibility in cybersecurity.

Information and Educational Technology (IET) is partnering with Microsoft to offer staff free, one-hour training sessions for Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat.  The AI-powered chat for writing, coding, and image generation is available at no additional cost to UC Davis and UC Davis Health students, faculty and staff.

Registration is required to attend the following training sessions. Participation is limited to the first 100 UC Davis staff members who sign up.

UC Davis is upgrading the online portal where undergraduate and graduate students update their address, phone number, and emergency contacts. On Saturday, August 23, 2025, the new Student Self-Service portal will be available at ssb.ucdavis.edu/BannerGeneralssb. The updated site will feature a modern design and improved mobile compatibility.  

Advanced AI capabilities, including data analysis, deep research and robust language translation, are now available to UC Davis faculty, staff and researchers. ChatGPT Edu has officially arrived at UC Davis!  

Tired of spam calls interrupting your day? Introducing automated spam marking for Zoom Phone! 

We are excited to announce a new feature for Zoom Phone at UC Davis, designed to eliminate unwanted interruptions and save valuable time. Beginning July 7, 2025, Zoom will automatically flag suspicious incoming calls as “Maybe Spam.” The Zoom auto-mark spam enhancement is being added in direct response to campus feedback.

UC Davis Health faculty and staff are getting or now have a new, separate M365 environment, specifically designed to meet privacy, safety, and compliance requirements of health data.  A new feature is coming soon to Microsoft 365 (M365) to support collaboration across UC Davis and UC Davis Health. 

While most at UC Davis are not directly impacted by this change, the way you interact and collaborate with health employees may look a bit different.
